Combined system for generating electricity - has solar collector panels positioned in basin with dam defining flow passage through hydraulic turbine

A dam separates an upper basin from a lower basin, the flow between them driving an hydraulic turbine which drives an electrical generator. Solar radiation absorption panels are placed in positions such that solar radiation falling on the water in the two basins is reflected onto the panels. There is one panel for each basin. The bottom of each basin is made of a reflective material in order to increase the radiation reflected. A second high level basin can be employed to drive a second generator by flow from the upper to the intermediate basin.
