PURPOSE:To enhance the operation efficiency without reducing membrane function in removal of dirt deposited on the surface of membrane in a permeable membrane device by a method wherein a soft material such as an urethane foam is continuously made to contact the membrane surface by utilizing liquid flow in pipe. CONSTITUTION:Liquid to be treated is pressurized with pump P1 and flowed into a soft material supply/contain device N. Sponge balls D1, D2 contained in projection route 3 are supplied by the liquid and sent into pipe 4. The liquid and the sponge balls D1, D2 flow while rubbing the surface of permeable membrane M of a membrane moduele F connected downstream the pipe 4, then pass through pipe 5, and sent to the second soft-material supply/contain device N'. There, the balls and liquid are separated, and the balls are contained in the device N'. The balls are next pushed out by transporting medium discharged from pump P2 and go to pipe route 12 via pipe 11. By rotation of the device N, the treating liquid again supplies the balls. |
