The equipment has two hemispherical shells (1,2) for filling and bleeding brake circuits,with a membrane (3) between them. The membrane can be lowered and air excluded from the brake pipes. There is a breather pipe joined to the lower shell. The upper shell is of transparent plastics material to monitor the membrane. The breather applying suction to the lower shell is a pipe joined to two tubular parts, one inside the other, to a source of compressed air (17) and with a valve between the tubes.
