An air bag device is provided to reduce assembling processes of the air bag device by coupling an air-bag cover to a mounting plate in a process of assembling an inflator and the mounting plate. An air bag device comprises an air-bag cover(50), an air-bag cushion(60), an inflator(70), a mounting plate(80), a retainer(90) and a moving plate(100). The air-bag cover has an inner space and is provided at one end with a locking projection(51). The air-bag cushion is folded in the space of the air-bag cover. The inflator is inserted into the air-bag cushion and supplies pressure such that the air-bag cushion is inflated. The mounting plate has a coupling hole into which the inflator is inserted. The retainer connects the air-bag cushion to the mounting plate. The moving plate is provided on the mounting plate and coupled to the locking projection of the air-bag cover.
