COIL SIZE MEASUREMENT FROM AUTOMATIC WAREHOUSE AND LOAD METHOD

A coil size measuring and loading method in an automatic warehouse is provided to automatically measure widths and heights of coils in case of warehouse of the coils, to manage the measured information in a program, and to take the coils out of the warehouse in case of need. A coil size measuring and loading method in an automatic warehouse includes the steps of: loading a coil(5) on a reverse apparatus(6); measuring a height value of the coil by a height measuring linear sensor(10) and a cylinder; horizontally placing the coil on a conveyor belt(7) by operation of the reverse apparatus; measuring a width value of the coil by a width measuring linear sensor(20) and a cylinder(21); inputting the width and height values of the coil measured by the linear sensors and the cylinders to a main PLC(Programmable Logic Controller); displaying the measured values inputted to the PLC on a screen of a touch PC to perform warehousing and taking-out of the coil according to a worker's command; moving the coil to a stacker crane by operation of the conveyor belt; raising the moved coil by a forker(4) of the stacker crane; moving the forker loaded with the coil to the crane and moving the crane to a rack by using a rail; and loading the coil on the rack by moving the forker up and down.
