Endoscope for engineering and medicine - has UV transmitting fluid core, quartz lenses and fibre=optics

A UV illuminated endoscope has a fluid filled light guide with quartz windows at each end and with a remote operated switch for the lamp. The instrument is used for diagnostic purposes in conjunction with fluorising indicators. The fluid filling for the tube transmits UV and is fed into the flexible tube sleeve from the screened UV lamp. The optic viewing is by a second tube linked to an ocular to prevent damage to the eye. A foot switch operates the light.
