<p>PURPOSE:To prevent the intrusion of the connection part of a dust boot into between a shaft and the body and seal between the body and the shaft by forming an annular lip which is inserted onto the outer periphery of the shaft on the body installing part side of the dust boot, in the apparatus described in the caption of such as disc brake etc. CONSTITUTION:The sliding part which projects outside of the shaft hole 3 of a guide pin 4 is protected by the connection part 6C, and adhesion of dust is prevented. As the gap between a caliper holder 1 and the guide pin 4 is double sealing structure in which sealing is performed by the lip part 6C, so the intrusion of dust into between (into the shaft hole 3) the caliper holder 1 and the guide pin 4 is prevented, and the both 1 and 4 slide smoothly. When the guide pin 4 is inserted into the shaft hole 3, the intrusion of dust into the shaft hole 3 is prevented due to the hindering by the lip part 6c, even if the connection part 6c twines around the guide pin 4, and breakage of the connection part 6c is prevented.</p> |
