<p>The inclined conveyor is intended for moving a wheeled trolley, e.g. a shopping or baggage trolley, having a manually released brake. The track width of the two wheel pairs is different and the incline has two corresponding pairs of vertically offset tracks. The trolley is moved by endless chains to either side of the incline. The conveyor chains laterally engage tand disengage the trolley in horizontal run-in and run-out portions at the ends of the incline. The braked wheels are coupled to smaller dia. wheels running on raised tracks, thus lifting the brake wheels off their tracks whilst being conveyed.</p> |
