An apparatus and a method for displaying a channel list of a DMB(Digital Multimedia Broadcasting) terminal are provided to measure the reception intensity relating to the channel selected from the channel list. A digital multimedia broadcasting receiver(60) outputs the digital multimedia broadcasting of a specific channel, and measures/outputs the reception signal intensity of the channel. A storing member(20) stores the channel list and the channel deletion list. A display member(40) displays the channel list and the reception signal intensity of the channels. A control member(10) loads and displays the channel list, deletes the channel with no a signal from the channel list, registers the channel deletion list and performs the scanning to the channels in the channel deletion list by a constant period. The control member deletes the channel with the reception signal intensity from the channel deletion list and registers the channel to the channel list. The reception signal intensity is displayed by percentage.
