Ski-boot with built-in binding mechanism - includes spring element and shaft located near heel acting on piston

The ski boot has a built in binding mechanism of the plate-type. This includes a spring piston inside a piston housing located in the heel area of the ski boot. The piston housing includes a spring element with a shaft positioned horizontally and vertical to the spring element which comprises a cylinder segment shaped recess to permit attachment of the piston head whilst allowing swivel movement relative to each other. As part of the binding mechanism at least one spring piston is positioned in at least one cylinder shaped spring piston housing with the spring element located centrally within the heel area of the skibooth.
