To ensure and efficient cleaning of windscreens etc. the cleaning fluid is supplied to the wiper blade (2) and not to the glass surface. The wiper blade has at least one opening (8) through which the fluid is introduced and is provided on the longitudinal wiping edge with at least one outlet opening (10) which extends over the entire length of the blade. At least one guide channel (9) connects the supply opening to the outlet opening (10) so that now fluid is effectively supplied all over that area of the glass covered by the wiper blade. The wiper blade (2) can have several outlet openings evenly distributed over the length of the blade wherein the guide channel (9) can have individual brances leading to each outlet opening.
