PURPOSE:To prevent scattering of toner, eliminate contamination, and re-use the recovered toner, by recovering the scattered developer outside the developing device into the developing device by utilizing the magnetic attractive force. CONSTITUTION:A developing device 3 has a developing magnetic pole N1 and scatter recovering magnetic pole S1, and a magnet 7 having a magnetic pole disposed at a proper place to convey the magnetic developing material T. A doctor blade 8 defines the thickness of toner T, and is positioned opposite to magnetic pole S2. A sleeve 9 envelops the magnet 8 and rotates in the direction of C to feed the toner and recovers the scattered toner. A container 10 has the bottom part 10' which serves as the entry guide of transfer, which pairs with entry guide 4' of transfer paper P. A guide 13 guides the transfer paper P entering from a pair of feeding rollers 11, 11' into the transfer guide. The scattered toner occurring in the transfer part is attracted in the direction of D by the magnetic pole S1 and is led into the developing device, without dispersing outside. Besides, this toner may be re-used in the development. |
