PURPOSE:To reduce the power consumption of the step motor and improve the magnetic resistance by using a logical element for detection of external magnetic field and a voltage comparator for detection of the rotary condition of the rotor. CONSTITUTION:A step motor composed of a stator 1, a rotor and a coil is provided. The driving means of the step motor is varied when external magnetic field is encountered and the drive conditions are changed. In this case, for the detection of the external magnetic field, the detection part is made up of logical elements 74-78 while for the detection of rotor condition, in rotation or not, it is made up of the reference voltage sections 85 and 86 and the voltage comparators 83 and 84. As a result, the magnetic resistance to the external magnetic field can be improved. |
