PURPOSE:To obtain a toner easily producible and capable of fixing superiorly without causing offset in pressure fixing, adding a releasing material to an encapsulated toner consisting of a core substance containing a pressure fixing component and an outer shell for covering this. CONSTITUTION:A releasing material, such as polyfluoroethylene, fluorocarbon resin or silicone oil is added by 5-50wt% based on a core material composing resin to an encapsulated toner consisting of a pressure fixing component, such as, natural wax, higher aliphatic acid, or polyolefin, exhibiting tackiness under normal temperature and normal pressure, and an outer shell covering the core material, i.e., a layer consisting mainly of a film-forming polymer or an insulating material. This composition permits pressure fixing performance to be high, offset to be prevented in pressure fixing, chargeability to be superior, a high quality image to be formed, and production of the encapsulated toner to be easy. |
