Simple small active aerial for vehicle - has circuit board holding amplifier and located in separate chamber from guide tube for aerial conductor

The aerial has its foot (2) designed as a cavity (17) formed by the guide tube for the aerial's conductor and as a part of a shared casing (3, 5). A piece (3) forms a unit with the foot and is designed together with a shell-like cap (5) on it as a completely separate cavity (18) for the amplifier fixed to the piece and mounted on a circuit board (20). The second cavity (18) is inside the casing and is separate from the first cavity (17). A connector (6) for the aerial's cable (11) is fixed to the circuit board at a place farthest from the aerial's foot. The cap has a hole (40) to allow the passage of the connector. The aerial requires only one mounting hole in the vehicle bodywork.
