A hinge arrangement for adjustable seats for automobiles has two hinge parts 1 and 2 which are rotatable about the axis of a shaft 7, and are provided with respective internally toothed coaxial ring gears 1a and 2a, having different numbers of teeth, but otherwise similar. An externally toothed gear wheel 8 is mounted eccentrically on the shaft 7. Its external diameter is less than the common internal diameter of the ring gears 1a and 2a with which it meshes simultaneously, and it has less teeth. Upon rotating the shaft 7, the ring gears 1a and 2a are relatively angularly displaced. <IMAGE> |
