PURPOSE:To obtain an inexpensive solder withstanding a high temperature for used in auxiliary lead tube for communication plastic sheath connection, by processing Pb alloy having a specified content of Sb into a linear form. CONSTITUTION:This is a solder to be used when connecting the sheath of a plastic sheathed cable for communication by means of an auxiliary lead tube. A Pb-Sb alloy containing 4-11wt% Sb is drawn into a linear form to obtain a solder. This solder has the solidus line temperature at 252 deg.C and the liquidus line temperature between 292-254 deg.C depending on the content of Sb. When heat is applied after soldering, the airtightness of the soldered part and reliability are maintained. In addition, this solder excels in the safety in material production and processing. |
