PURPOSE:To utilize all directly irradiated light, scattered light and reflected light by a solar battery by bonding non-irradiatig surfaces of two solar battery cells and forming light irradiating surfaces on both the surfaces thereof. CONSTITUTION:A CdS sintered film 2 is formed on a glass substrate 1, and nickel electrodes 3 are locally attached to the film 2. Then, a p-type copper sulfide layer 4 is formed on the surface of the film 2, a pn-junction is formed thereat, and a silver paint 5 is finally coated thereon. Then, two solar battery cells formed by this method are superposed, connected with lead wires 6, and the wires 6 are then externally introduced. When this solar battery is placed in the vicinity of the focal point of a reflecting mirror 8 and solar battery is irradiated thereto, the light reflected from the mirror 8 is also irradiated to the solar battery in addition to the directly irradiated light from the sun and scattered light. |
