Lid of plastics case with sloping sides - has two parts hinged to opposite case sides, and channel groove around periphery for stacking purposes

The plastics case has a closure cover, a rectangular base and four walls which are inclined upwards. At least one side wall has an outside top edge hinge fitment which coincides with a hinge unit on the cover. The cover, in the closed position, is entirely self-supporting on the case top edge, and can comprise two parts (8, 9) hinged (7, 10) to opposite case side walls. The outside of the cover has a channel groove (11) built into it which accommodates the base of a similar case when stacked.
