PURPOSE:To obtain a heat developable photosensitive material free from heat fog and having superior shelf stability by blending a specified compund into a heat developable photosensitive material contg. an org. silver salt, a photocatalyst and a reducing agent as essential components. CONSTITUTION:A compound represented by general formula I (where each of R<1> and R<2> is alkyl, alkenyl, aryl or heterocyclic group and R<1> and R<2> may bond to each other to form a ring), e.g., the compound of formula II, III or IV is blended as an antiheat-foggant. An org. silver salt such as silver laurate or silver myristate, a photocatalyst, e.g., a photosensitive silver halide such as silver chloride or silver bromide, a reducing agent such as 1,1-bis(2-hydroxy-3,5-dimethylphenyl)-3,5,5- trimethylhexane, and the above-mentioned compound as an antiheat-foggant are dispersed in a binder such as polyvinyl butyral or gelatin. |
