PURPOSE:To obtain the captioned device highly credible for its stabilized motion, superior for its durability and suited for printing at a low speed and with many recording spots such as those of a Japanese typewriter by a method wherein each dot is printed sequentially by moving a single wire dot. CONSTITUTION:A supporting piece 24 moves as a cam 25 is rotated at a fixed angle by a motor 27. A driving current being impressed on an electromagnetic device 23 when the tip of a wire 21 moves with the movement of the piece, the wire 21 strikes at an ink ribbon 31 to print a dot. The ptinting of a vertical line from the dot at the lower end to that in the uppermost being finished, the next line is printed starting from the dot in the upper end. At this time, a printing head is fed horizontally by step feed. Since the number of parts required for the printing head is less, the cost can be reduced and also the maintenance becomes easier. |
