PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a light beam scanning optical element capable of scanning the whole space of omnidirectional 360°and vertical direction 90°or more, to provide a two-dimensional scanning mirror device, and to provide an optical scanner using the same. SOLUTION: The optical scanner comprises: a light beam source unit 2 which generates a light beam; a two-dimensional optical scanning means 3 arranged on a center axis 1 serving on a propagation axis of the light beam; and a scanning angle transforming means 4 which is scanned by the two-dimensional optical scanning means 3 and magnifies a scanning angle in a direction along the center axis 1 of the light beam, whereby the optical scanner can scan 360°around the center axis 1 and 90°or more in cross-section including the center axis 1.
