PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cassette capable of surely press-fitting and holding a storage type phosphor sheet, housed inside and also easily canceling the press-fit state, when loading/unloading the storage type phosphor sheet. SOLUTION: The cassette 10 includes: a housing 12 for housing the storage type phosphor sheet IP on which the radiation image of a subject is recorded; a cover 16 coupled with the housing 12 to freely rock and opening/closing an aperture part 14 for loading/unloading the storage-type phosphor sheet IP in/from the housing; a locking means 28 provided in the housing 12 and locking or unlocking the opening/closing of the cover 16; and a press-fitting mechanism 32, provided on a top plate 12b side in the housing 12 and holding the storage type phosphor sheet IP between a radiation irradiated surface 12a side in the housing 12 and the press-fitting mechanism 32, by press-fitting the storage type phosphor sheet IP housed in the housing 12.
