PURPOSE:To decrease the number of unregistered data of the center file by detecting for comparison both the page number and the page code of the bankbook, transmitting the number to be printed to the center when the coincidence is secured through the comparison and at the same time detecting and then transmitting the print enable column to the center. CONSTITUTION:For opened bankbook 1, the detection is carried out via detection head (not shown in the diagram) for the page number written into the magnetic stripes of book 1 and to be printed. The same detection head reads out page code 1b of book 1, and the opened page is decided correct when the agreement is secured between the page number and the page code. At the same time, the page number to be printed is sent to the center. On the other hand, detection head 2 detects the column to be printed on the opened page of book 1, and control circuit 3 counts the number of columns through which the head 2 shifted to decide the number of the print enable columns and then send the number to the center. Thus the print enable columns of book 1 are known at the center, and as a result, the number can be decreased for the unregistered data of the center file. |
