PURPOSE:To improve registration characteristics and mechanical accuracy by laminating plural frame-shaped square coils which are independently wound and molding them into semicylindrical structure in which the fringe section of the coil is overlapped. CONSTITUTION:The deflection coil 7 is constituted by multilayer-laminating each of the independently divided and wound frame-shaped square coils 7a-7d and press molding them into semicylindrical shapes. Since this structure shortens the fringe section 7a and lengthens the linear section 7B, the inverse magnetic field occurrence is reduced due to the effect of the fringe section 7A. Similarly, the magnetic field inside an image pickup tube is made uniform and the occurrence of an S-shaped graphic distortion is reduced. |
