FIELD: metallurgy. ^ SUBSTANCE: here are disclosed easy-to-cut copper alloys containing reduced amount of lead in comparison with traditional alloys. Alloys contain from 71.5 to 78.5 percent of weight of copper, from 2.0 to 4.5 percent of weight of silicon, from 0.005 percent and up to, but not less, than 0.02 percent of weight of lead and the rest percent of weight of zinc.
