<p>A vehicle-carrier trailer comprises a mobile chassis (1) having one or two axles and equipped with a tiltable draw bar (2) and with a winch. The chassis comprises two box sections (6) of tubular latticework or trelliswork which are interconnected by transverse members (7) and rails (3) in the form of metallic plates (4) rest on the chassis between longitudinal members (5) of the latter.
