The extractor hood housing is built into the fitted top cupboard by using a closure frame which is made from angle rails (10) and which covers the gap (12) between the housing wall (4) and the adjoining cupboard wall (7). The fixing arm (10') of the angle bar (10) has double holes (11) while the other arm (10") which runs at right angles to the side wall (4) of the housing (1) engages behind the edge of the intake side (11) of the housing (1). The fixing arm of the angle bar can be held on hollow cylinder screws (6) mounted in the side wall (4) of the housing whereupon the housing can be adjusted inside the cupboard (8) by means of the screws (6).
