PURPOSE:To make the vibrator of the outline vibrating mode small-size and reduce CI (crystal impedance), by forming the support part, which is shaped in one body together with the vibration part, into a prescribed form. CONSTITUTION:Vibration part 21 and support part 22 are shaped in one body to form piezoelectric vibrator 20 of the outline vibrating mode. Support material 22 which is provided in the approximate center of the short side of vibration part 21 through bridge part 23 consists of elastic part 24 interlocked with vibration part 21, plural attenuation parts 26, and fixed part 28 fixed to the support stand and so on. Further, the space of an approximately T form is formed in support part 22 by these materials. By forming the support material in this manner, vibration of vibration part 21 is attenuated, and displacement in fixed part 28 becomes zero approximately. Consequently, CI can be reduced becuase vibration leakage in support part 22 becomes small, and the whole of the vibrator can be made small- size because support part 22 can be small. |
