PURPOSE:To reduce dust deposition and accumulation in the exhaust gas by securing a distributor having a sharp end and approximately triangular section at the inflow end of the exhaust gas for each plate-form catalyst in the preparation of a catalyst block from many plate-form catalysts by means of a frame. CONSTITUTION:A distributor 4 having a sharp end and an approximately triangular section is secured to the inflow side end part 1a of exhaust gas G for a plate- form catalyst 1. The flow of the exhaust gas G is aligned by these distributors 4, whereby the formation of vortexes is prevented. The plate-form catalysts 1 provided with the distributors 4 are subsequently arrayed in such a manner that the distributors 4 direct to the exhaust gas inflow side and yet they are formed to one catalyst block by means of a frame 2. |
