PURPOSE: To produce a transparent, glossy, strong and rigid container from a resin having excellent molding characteristics without requiring a preblowing/ preheating stage by adding a specific biaxially stetched propylene/ethylene random copolymer resin. CONSTITUTION: A container contains a biaxially stretched propylene/ethylene random copolymer resin as a whole concept and a proper resin contains about 0.5-8% by wt. of the resin of an ethylene component and has a melt flow index of above about 50 (more desirably, about 60 or more) G/10 min (230 deg.C, 2160G load) and an Mw/Mn ratio of about 2.0-2.5. The resin can contain a small amt. of, desirably, below about 1 wt.% of a nucleating agent. The container has excellent transparency, gloss, strength, rigidity and wall thickness characteristics and, by using a resin having a relatively high MFR, the molding work thereof can be executed at lower temp. and pre-blowing and/or preheating stage necessary for a conventional injection stretch blow molding method is unnecessary. |
