<p>PURPOSE:To obtain an ink having a sufficient concentration for registering, being free from nozzle plugging and containing a disperse dye in the impregnated form in latex particles, prepared by dispersing the disperse dye in an aqueous vinyl polymer latex and heating the resulting dispersion. CONSTITUTION:A disperse dye is incorporated in the particles of an aqueous vinyl polymer latex, in the impregnated form therein, by dispersing the disperse dye in the aqueous vinyl polymer latex and heating the resulting dispersion. The vinyl polymer latex which can be used is prepared by emulsion-polymerizing, after purging with nitrogen and emulsification, a vinyl monomer in an aqueous medium containing 0.1-20wt%, based on the vinyl monomer, of a dispersant for emulsion polymerization and 2-50wt% of water.</p> |
