摘要 A semiconductor memory device is provided to prevent generation of an error due to over read training by controlling the number of pipe line in a read training. A pipe control signal generating part(200) activates a part or a whole among pipe line control signals in response to a read training command, and outputs an activated control signal. A multiplex part(300) selects a part or a whole among the pipe line control signals, and outputs a pipe line driving signal. A pipe control signal generating part includes a first flip flop, a second flip flop, a third flip flop, a fourth flip flop, and a first multiplexer. The first flip flop generates and outputs a first pipe line driving signal. The second flip flop receives an output of the first flip flop, and generates a second pipe line control signal. The first multiplexer selects one among outputs of the first flip flop and the second flip flop in response to a read training command. The third flip flop receives an output of the first multiplexer, and feeds back to the first flip flop. The fourth flip flop receives the output of the first multiplexer, and generates a third pipe line control signal.
