<p>The vine-pruner has one or more sets of cutters each comprising a horizontal and vertical blade and each pruning a half-row. The horizontal blade (8) is accommodated in a fixed mounting, while the vertical (14) is mounted on an arm (10) swinging to and fro on a vertical axis (11). The vertical blade can comprise one or more vertical blades mounted by radial arms on a vertical driving shaft. At the lower end of the latter is a disc of radius greater than that of the arms, to determine the length to which the shoots are pruned from the trunk.</p> |
