The plate (1) has passage openings (4, 10) for bone screws and attachment section (2, 6) exhibiting contact surfaces (3, 7) for external attachment and fixing two foot bone segments, respectively. A longitudinal center axis (15) of a third passage opening (13) is arranged at an axis (16) below an angle that is in the range of 5 degree to 45 degree. The axis (16) extends in the sections along the longitudinal extension of the contact surface (3). The axis (16) running along the contact surface (3) forms a crown line of the concave curved contact surface.
