Phorphite stabiliser compsn. comprises bis-(di-3-9C alkylphenyl)-pentaerythritol diphosphite (I) and a lower amt. of triisopropanolamine (II). (II) stabilisers (I) against hydrolysis (I) is a stabiliser for vinyl chloride and olefin polymers and polycarbonates. (I) is pref. bis-(di-tert-butylphenyl)pentaerythritol diphosphite (IA) and is used in the resin in an amt. of 0.5-300% (w.r.t. the compsn) (II) is used in an amt. 0.01-5 wt.% w.r.t. (I).
