The head supports the drawbar of a towed vehicle at the level of the hitch making the connection to the tractor. It has an attachment forming a pivot (6) with the drawgear head carried on a body carried on a limited amplitude suspension to a wheel set (1). The body has a plate to keep the wheel set body (2) vertical and it can slide up and down on this. The movement is spring (13) controlled to absorb ground generated vibrations and has a damper.
