PURPOSE:To improve the ion conductivity of a film by fixing low-molecular weight polyethylene onto the surface of small fibers in a microstructure porous PTFE film in which small fibers and knots exist and the knots are connected with the small fibers. CONSTITUTION:Low molecular weight polyethylene is fixed on to the surface of small fibers in a microstructure porous polytetrafluoroethylene(PTFE) in which small fibers and knots exist and the knots are connected with the small fibers. The low molecular weight polyethylene is fixed on to the small fibers which are the constitutional element in such a way that, for example, low molecular weight polyethylene is dissolved in a solvent such as hot xylene, and the porous PTFE film is immersed in this solution, then heat-dried. The wettability of the porous PTFE film to an organic electrolyte is improved and the ion conductivity is also increased. |
