The carrier (1) is made from units (10,11) each trapezoidal in section and connected to adjacent units by tongue and groove lateral faces. Some units (10) have a more inclined lateral face than other (11). Using only one type (10) would give a diameter of 3m60, using only the other a diameter of 6m, while a mixture of units gives an intermediate diameter. Hand lever operated jacks (19) have seat plates (20) which can be withdrawn for placing the bricks, while the carrier (1) is mounted on rollers (9) so that it can travel along support beams (2) of a working platform (4).
