<p>PURPOSE:To perform treatment of waste gas with high efficiency without causing adverse effect on the operation of an arc furnace or on a working environment by setting automatically number of revolution of a suction fan which has been set manually for each separated operation stage of the arc furnace as the rpm of the suction fan at each succeeding operation stage of the arc furnace. CONSTITUTION:Optimum number of revolution of a suction fan in a waste gas treating line is previously set manually for each separated stage of operation of an arc furnace by observing dust collecting condition of a dust collector installed to a down stream side of the suction fan. Each manually set number of revolution of the suction fan is set automatically as the number of revolution in the succeeding operation stage of the arc furnace. By controlling the number of revolution of the suction fan in such a manner, treatment of waste gas is performed economically with high efficiency without causing adverse influence on the operation of an arc furnace and on the working environment.</p> |
