Light weight shell structure prodn. system - glues internal structure to skin in mould before closing and applying pressure

The system produces lightweight shell-type structures with positive and/or negative curvature and/or large flat surfaces, by enclosing an internal structure by means of a skin. The internal structure is first completed as a ribbed structure accessible from all sides. The skin forming the structure surface is then inserted and detachably secured in the shaping mould, and the structure is glued to the skin. Finally the mould sections are closed and sealed, and a pressure is built up between them and the skin. Pref. the inner structure is made completely of composite fibre material.
