Novel amides of acyl-carnitines having general formula <IMAGE> wherein R' is acetyl, propionyl, butyryl (unsubstituted or halogen-substituted) isobutyryl, beta -hydroxybutyryl, acetoacetyl, pantothenyl, and linoleyl, and R'' is either an unsubstituted amino radical (provided that R' is ather than acetyl) or a substituted amino radical, are therapeutically effective in treatment of functional arrythmias or arrhythmias secondary to myocardialsclerotic diseases and as psychosti-mulants. |
