Mounting system for rotating machine - fits stator core to casing and reduces noise by using elastic compression bars and spring parts

The mounting system has elastic compression bars (3) and spring parts (6). The spring parts are pressed against the parts (5) fixed to the core until elastic deformation occurs. This pressing occurs before the compression bars are fixed to the casing (2) and is accomplished using pressure elements which are removed after the core (1) segments have been fixed to the elastic compression bars. The advantage lies in secure fixing and in reducing the acoustic noise produced whilst the machine is running. The elastic compression bars (12) use screwed threads fitted with nuts to compress the stack of core segments through end plates (13).
