METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR WELDING HOLLOW THERMOPLASTIC RESIN MATERIAL IN HOT AIR

PURPOSE:To heat and fuse the whole welding resin portion readily by a method wherein hollow thermoplastic resin pieces are caused to rotate and concentrated hot air is caused to jet out of the nozzle. CONSTITUTION:Two hollow thermoplastic resin pieces 5, 6 to be welded are supported at a small interval so that they can rotate. The welding portions 5a, 6a of the rotating hollow pieces are fused locally by the concetratedlly setting hot air and the fused welding resin portions are attached under pressure and cooled after the hot air nozzle is kept away therefrom.
