PURPOSE:To shorten a convergence adjustment time, by completing an averaged measurement in one field by slightly shifting a measuring point, in case convergence of a color television is measured by using a white black ITV camera as a detector. CONSTITUTION:A color TV picture 1 is photographed by a white black ITV camera 2, the time amounts tRi, tGi, tBi required for reaching a peak of the detection waveform from the horizontal synchronous signals of three primary colors of R, G, B are derived through the video switch 5 by the peak position detector 6 from the aforesaid image signal, and they are converted to the color shift amounts after they have been subject to an operation processing by the calculation device 8. After that, based upon the above data, a deflecting yoke 3 and a magnet ring 4 which are mounted to a color Braun tube are located and adjusted. At first an R monochromatic vertical line pattern is output on the TV picture, the picture is photographed by an ITV camera 2, a measuring point is set at the D-th one from the upper end, the time amount TRi of the first time is measured, and when the average value is calculated by measuring at the same intervals as the foregoing, the amount of high precision can be obtained. |
