Picture frame for easily replaceable picture - has inserting body forming retaining elements for picture and frame

The transparent front panel of the frame is surrounded on all sides by side members (3a-3d) which project at least 1cm back beyond the picture plane. The picture is held by retaining members on an insertable body (6) set between the opposing side members. The outer periphery of the inserting body matches the inner periphery of the side members. When inserted the body sits between the side members with a slight play all round. Since the side members project back, they form on the reverse side of the picture plane a guide fro the inserting body. To remove and replace the picture the body can be easily removed to make the picture accessible.
