<p>The pressure monitor is used to cut off the electrical supply to the pump if the high pressure outlet is blocked, e.g. if the valve for the spray jet is closed. It comprises a spring loaded piston (1) acted on at one end by the high pressure cleaning fluid and cooperating with one or more electrical switches at the other end. The later end of the piston (1) is in contact with a switch spindle (2), which directly operates the load contact of the three-phase load switch (4) the pump motor. Pref. the axial movement of the switch spindle (2) is limited, to define the upper and lower switching points, via respective setting screws (3, 6) carried by the spindle (2).</p> |
