A method of transferring letters, symbols, designs, etc. onto any type of surface is described. The required designs are first printed on to a sheet of transparent plastic film by means of the silk screen process using sublimable colouring pigments. The designs are then covered with a layer of adhesive and transfered by heat and pressure to a temporary sheet on which they appear as mirror images of the original. The process is then repeated to transfer them to the permanent posn. so that the designs appear in their original form. |
