PURPOSE:To provide an accomodating apparatus which makes it possible to accomodate a dummy bar in a small area and which makes the machine small-sized, by winding the dummy bar delivered on the path for transferring cast piece with a drum, and by accomodating the dummy bar after moving it outside the path. CONSTITUTION:A piston rod 22b of a cylinder 22 is extended so that the top end 19a of a dog 19 through into a drum 10, as shown by an assumed line, and a hook 17 is positioned just under the drum 10. When a dummy bar 3 moves in the transfer path 1 in the direction of an arrow A, and tail 3a enters the dent 18 of the hook 17, the piston rod 22b is drawn in and the top end 19a of the dog 19 is projected out of the drum 10 so as to clip the tail 3a. The drum 10 is then revolved quickly in the direction of an arrow D by a motor not shown in Figure so as to wind the dummy bar 3 at a speed higher than the transferring speed of cast piece. Subsequently, motors 28 are operated in order to move a truck 7, whereby the accomodating apparatus 6 is conveyed out of the path 1. |
