PURPOSE:To provide an accomodating and inserting apparatus described in the title which reduces the floor area exclusively used for casting and which can be inserted easily into the mold, by inclining a charging car by a sloping floor so as to insert a flexible dummy bar longitudinally. CONSTITUTION:When a dummy bar 3Q is sent pressurized rightward by a pinch roll 26C at the beginning of casting operation, the top end (tail part) 30a of the dummy bar 30 is pushed vertically upward by a hoisting pinch roll 7 in the upper part of an ascent and descent guide 2 installed above a cast piece transferring roller 27, where it is interlocked with a interlocking member, not shown in Figure, of a rotating conveyer chain 21, then pulled upward along a frame 19, then pulled up by a curved part 20, and the head of the dummy bar 30 is pulled upward to the lowest end of the vertical part 34 of the frame 19. To insert the dummy bar 30 into the mold 25, the sloping floor is pulled up by a winch 13 to a horizontal position and the charging car 16 is moved to the mold 24, then the insertion is conducted by the prescribed procedure. |
